アリカンテの生徒たちと…
今年のせんくら、２回目のコンサートは、チェロの名手
長谷川陽子さんとのデュオです。
その素晴らしい音楽性、歌心、そして太陽のように明るく、いつも生き生きとした陽子さんの人柄。
私は彼女のデビュー前からの大ファンでしたが、レコード会社が同じになったこともあって共演の機会が多くなりました。
12年ほど前にブラジル音楽を中心としたCDも発表し、この「せんくら」でも何度もご一緒させて頂きました。
今回はお互いのソロの後、パガニーニ、チャイコフスキー、バルトークなどクラシック音楽の名曲集を聴いて頂きましょう。
チェロとギターはお互いの音域が近いこともあって、耳に優しく解け合うアンサンブルが魅力です。
このコンサートは日立システムズホール（青年文化センター）シアターホールで10月３日（金）17時45分開演です。
さて今年は、支倉常長が送り出した建長遣欧使節のスペイン到着から400年。
この記念の年を祝って様々なイベントが行われています。
私はこの５月末にスペイン東海岸の都市アリカンテの大学からの依頼でリサイタル、続いて一週間のマスタークラスを教えました。
世界10カ国から集った14人のギタリストを教える仕事は大変でしたがとても刺激的な新しい体験でした。
そしてもう一度、「せんくら」の後10月の半ばからスペインに参ります。
南部アンダルシア地方の古都セビリアの国際ギターフェスティバルが招待してくれました。
先日聞いた話ですが、セビリアの近くには建長遣欧使節団の末裔が住みついた村があるとのこと。
なんとその住民は皆「JAPON」という姓を名乗っているそうです。
是非訪ねてみたいと思っています。
