アリカンテでのリサイタル
仙台クラシック・フェスティバル、「せんくら」も、早いもので第9回目を迎えることになりました。
世界でも類を見ない、この画期的な音楽フェスティバルに、私は幸運にもその第一回から参加させていただいています。
多くのファンの皆様から、毎年10月に「せんくら」でギターが聴ける事が嬉しいという喜びの声を頂き、私は様々なジャンルの音楽が集う絶好の機会に、ギター音楽の魅力を少しでも多く知って頂こうと、毎年のプログラムには趣向を凝らしてきました。
これまで、バッハの組曲や19世紀古典派の知られざる作品、武満徹さんの現代作品やビートルズ・アレンジ、またフルートや弦との室内楽、そして昨年はロドリーゴの名曲「アランフェス協奏曲」をオーケストラと共演させて頂きました。
さて、今年は再び原点に戻った気持ちで、まずはクラシック・ギター音楽の王道であるスタンダードなスペイン音楽をソロでお届けします。
近代のギター音楽と奏法の基礎を確立したスペインの作曲家、フランシスコ・タレガの名作「アルハンブラの思い出」に始まり、ギターをイメージして作曲されたグラナドスやアルベニスのピアノ作品からの編曲の数々、そしてロドリーゴが60歳の時に作曲し、パリ国際ギターコンクール作曲部門で優勝した隠れ名曲「祈りと踊り」に至るスパニッシュ・アンソロジー「スペインの風」は10月３日（金）12時から「イズミティ２１」小ホールで開演です。
