左手の音楽祭の実り（舘野泉） ― 2014/07/09 13:25
２０１２年から約２年を掛けて行なってきた＜舘野 泉フェスティバル― 左手の音楽祭＞は昨年１１月１０日の東京オペラシテイーのコンサートをもって無事終了した。
左手作品のみによる音楽祭など前代未聞のことで無謀とさえいわれもしたが、全１６回が毎回異なるプログラムで構成され、手応え充分な充実した音楽祭となった。
左手のピアノ・ソロ作品のみならず三手連弾曲、さまざまな編成による室内楽曲、そして幾多のピアノ協奏曲など、限りない可能性を含んだ立派な作品がこの音楽祭の間に誕生し、豊穣な稔りを日本の音楽史の上に刻みこむことが出来た。
日本を代表する作曲家達に加え、アルゼンチン、アイスランド、アメリカ、フィンランド、エストニアの作曲家達からも多くの立派な作品が寄せられた。
これまで「左手の文庫」募金への寄付で、新作の誕生を応援してくださった方々に感謝。
改めて皆様に深くお礼を申し上げたい。
「左手の音楽祭」が終わって半年がたっても、多くの作曲家からピアノ協奏曲、ピアノソナタ、室内楽作品などの新作が寄せられており、今後はそれらを演奏する機会も探っていきたいと考えている。
今年の「せんくら」でもいくつかの作品をご披露できるのは嬉しいこと。
病に倒れてからもう１２年の歳月が過ぎる。
元気になって毎日ピアノに向かい、音を紡ぎあげてゆくことが出来るのを、ただただ有り難く思っている。
音楽が与えてくれるものは、常に生き生きとし、日々豊かに変化変貌してゆく・・・その在りようを手で味わい、表してゆきたい。
「左手の音楽祭」で出会った実りを慈しみ、これからの活動がなにをもたらしてくれるのか、踏み出さないことには何も分かりませんが、喜寿を迎えたその一歩として。
