せんくらブログをご覧のみなさま、はじめまして。声楽の原田博之と申します。吉川和夫さん作曲の《銀河鉄道の夜》でご一緒できますことを嬉しく思います。私も子どもの頃から合唱を歌ってきましたが、本作品は子どもから大人まで一緒に楽しみ、宮澤賢治先生の世界を味わうことのできる作品です。初演を務めた「合唱団じゃがいも」は、子どもと大人が一緒に素晴らしい舞台をつくりあげました。現在私たちもその練習に取り組んでいます。
子どもの合唱とは縁がありまして、昨年からNHK仙台少年少女合唱隊の指導に携わっております。そして支倉常長が主人公の三善晃先生作曲のオペラ《遠い帆》東京公演（http://www.toiho.info）が、8月23日、24日に迫ってきました。このブログが掲載される頃、私たちは東京・新国立劇場でリハーサルの毎日を送っている予定です。
合唱隊は昨年の仙台公演から上級生が大勢抜けてしまうなど、ここまで困難の連続でした。ですが残されたベリー、ベリー・ヤングな子どもたちと力を合わせて頑張っています。演出の岩田達宗さんや指揮の佐藤正浩さんをはじめ、素晴らしいスタッフの皆さんとご一緒させて頂ける幸せをかみしめつつ、ソリストの皆さんの歌声に感激し、大人の合唱の迫力に圧倒される充実した毎日を送っています。

練習風景がありませんでしたが…、もちろんたくさん練習しました！
私が三善先生の合唱作品と出会ったのは、小学生の時に歌った《オデコのこいつ》から〈ゆめ〉でした。先生の作品に込められたメッセージは、子ども心に強い印象となって残りました。私の声楽の師は2000年の公演で支倉常長役でしたし、今回の常長役の小森輝彦さんも大学でお世話になった先輩です。色々なご縁があっての今回のオペラ公演、陰に徹して精一杯務めたいと思います。
