７月にオーストラリアに初めて行ってきました。私にとっては五大陸制覇です！（南米大陸と南極大陸にはまだ行ったことがありませんが）
普段の生活とは異なる、知らない土地に行くことは、素晴らしいことだと思います。
新鮮な空気を吸って、新しい景色を見て、インスピレーションを得ることができます。
私たちは成田から上海（つまり中国東方）経由で、シドニーへ１週間行きました。（中国東方はひどいものでした。飛行機のスタッフの何人かは正しい英語を話せませんでした。英語圏の国へのフライトであるならば、理論上は英語を話すゲストが搭乗しているはずと思いますよね。それなのに中国人のみ。しかし安かったのでガマンしました）
上海空港は何も面白くありませんでした。飛行機より少しはマシな食事を出す店はありましたが。

有名な「オペラハウス」（外観はとても番素晴らしいが、内部は通常の近代的なホール、特別なものは何も無く、音響も完璧ではありません）、そして、「ハーバーブリッジ」をはじめ、街中を歩きました。海岸に面したすてきな場所があり、いくつかの船着き場があり、水遊びに最適です。
その後の日程では、「エアーズロック」に行きました。「ウルル」とも言われる、アボリジニの人々の神聖な山です（彼らの一部はまだそうして暮らしています）。初日に夕日を見ましたが、太陽の動きによって、山の色が変化していく様子が見られ、素晴らしい経験になるだろうと思ったからです。
でも、もしみなさんがそこに行って休憩なしに山を見ても、色の変化には気が付かないことでしょう！（例えば１０分毎に次々撮影すると、それぞれの写真ごとに様々な色合いの山を見ることができるでしょうけれども）
そして、とても寒かったです。まるで冬です！夜には約5℃になりました。
「ウルル」からは、ちょうど50キロ。「カタ・ジュタ」は非常に興味深い山で、山は赤く、青い空と少しの植物だけです。
最終日には、もう一度「ウルル」に行きました。登山ではありませんが（登山は禁止されているのです。どちらにせよ、上には面白いものがないのですが）、いくつかの洞窟壁画や峡谷を見て歩きました。
そして、私たちは日本へ帰ってきました！
