先日、今何かと話題の作曲家、新垣隆さんの新曲を演奏する機会をいただいた。新垣さんは、互いが学生時代からの友人である。
この度演奏したのは、無伴奏ヴァイオリンソナタ。まだ１楽章だけの抜粋ではあったが、どこかイザイの無伴奏ソナタに通じるような、不思議な透明感を感じる。
「せんくら」に先がけて都内で９月に行われる公演で全楽章の世界初演を目指しており、これから他の楽章も全て完成し、どう展開していくのかが大変楽しみだ。
この夏は、こんな新曲にも取り組みつつ、パワーアップした姿で「せんくら」に臨みたい。

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
